Roma have made Alexander Sorloth their new priority signing.

The Norwegian striker is now the capital club’s first choice to replace Romelu Lukaku who officially concluded his loan a few days ago.

Sorloth is coming off 23 goals and 6 assists in La Liga this past season; he is considered the ideal profile to strengthen Daniele De Rossi’s attack for the upcoming campaign.

Negotiations between Roma and Sorloth’s club, Villareal, have taken off.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Villareal’s initial request of 38 million euros was eventually lowered to 30 million.

Roma are at work to get an even greater discount.

The parties are at work, just as Giallorossi sporting director Florent Ghisolfi continues to maintain constant relations with the player’s entourage.

Sorloth has already agreed to a move to the Italian capital.
