Roma are being linked with Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu as a potential defensive reinforcement in the summer.
Soyuncu is among the numerous defenders who is set to become a free agent in June and is yet to receive a convincing offer.
The Turkish international’s entourage have been shopping him around Europe and have recently come knocking on Roma’s door, informs La Gazzetta dello Sport. Mourinho’s team are in fact in search of an additional defender for next season and Soyuncu reportedly fits the profile the Giallorossi are looking for.
From a cost perspective, Soyuncu also represents a valid option for the capital club: the centreback earns less than €2 million per season.
Moreover, reports from Spain claim Roma are not the only team interested in the Turkish international. According to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid have entered the race for Soyuncu and consider him a priority signing for the summer.
