Roma attempting to hijack Parma’s move for Lanus defender Lautaro Valenti

SportItalia has reported that Roma have entered the race for Lanus defender Lautaro Valenti.

Reportedly, Parma were closing in on a deal for the central defender, but the Giallorossi have made a last-second entry in an attempt to hijack the deal.

The Argentine has been engaged in negotiations with the Gialloblu, but Roma’s late entry into the race could change the player’s mind on his next destination.

The agreement between Valenti and Parma is getting closer, but Roma are now attempting to beat Fabio Liverani’s side to the finish line for his signature.

Valenti made 22 league appearances for Lanus last season with 3 goals and 1 assist to his name for the Bueno Aires outfit.
