Roma are reportedly going to wait for proposals for Matías Viña and Eldor Shomurodov until the end of the current transfer window as both players have failed to impress the club in the opening stages to Roma’s preseason training, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi were ready to give the two players a chance after an underwhelming first campaign due to the heavy investment the club made for the Uruguayan fullback and the Uzbek striker.
However, a poor series of preseason friendlies and a late start in terms of form may have motivated Roma to consider their exits.
Whereas Shomurodov has drawn faint interest in Italy, with minor requests for a loan, the club have yet to receive a proposal for Matías Viña.
Tiago Pinto will reportedly wait until the final days of the transfer window to make a decision with Jose Mourinho with regards to the players’ stay in the capital.
