Roma are still holding out hope on the signing of Marcel Sabitzer of Bayern Munich.
The Austrian midfielder’s future at Bayern remains uncertain.
Sabitzer is reportedly keen on staying in Germany following a brief spell at Manchester United.
However, the decision on his future rests entirely on Thomas Tuchel who took over the club earlier in the year and who is yet to oversee the team’s preseason.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Sabitzer is Roma’s real priority for the midfield but the ex-Leipzig captain wants a permanent solution, whereas the Giallorossi can only sign him on loan.
