However, Sky Sport reports that after a round of inquiries with the player’s entourage, Roma decided to back out.
The reason for this being the player’s requests and Girona’s evaluation of La Liga’s top goal-scorer of last season.
Thus, Roma are bound to shift their focus on other targets to strengthen De Rossi’s attack ahead of next season.
