RomaPress – Patrik Schick is set to join Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent deal from Roma.
The Giallorossi and the German side reached an agreement on the Czech attacker within the hour for a figure of €27 million plus bonuses.
Schick is currently worth just slightly less than €20 million on Roma’s books, so the sale of the striker will bring the Italian club an important capital gain.
The striker was purchased by the Giallorossi in the summer of 2017 from Sampdoria for a club record €42 million after his proposed transfer to Juventus collapsed.
Schick departs the Eternal City having made a total of 58 appearances with 8 goals and 3 assists to his name in all competitions.
The player is currently in Rome with his agent, Pavel Paska, but the pair will depart for Germany in the coming hours so Schick can undergo his medicals with the Bundesliga side.
