Roma are reportedly scouting potential replacements of Evan Ndicka ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ivorian defender – who recently slotted into Jose Mourinho’s line-up after completing a move to the Italian capital in the summer – will likely be gone on international duty between January and February of next year.
As a result, Mourinho has asked the club to find a temporary replacement ahead of the January window.
According to Tuttosport, Roma will still have to respect UEFA’s settlement agreement and, therefore, can only take into consideration low-cost options such as Tottenham’s Eric Dier.
The Giallorossi have reportedly began the search for Ndicka’s replacement, especially given Chris Smalling and Diego Llorente’s uncertain physical condition.
