Roma are ready to hand highly rated youngster Riccardo Calafiori a contract renewal.
The Giallorossi promoted the 18 year-old left back to the first team late last season and handed him his senior debut in a victory against Juventus.
Calafiori, who is currently sidelined after having tested positive for COVID-19 nearly two weeks ago, has attracted interest throughout the past year from Juventus, PSG, and Fiorentina.
Roma, though, have made it clear that they view the left back as an integral piece to their future and are ready to hand the defender a new deal.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that the negotiations between Calafiori, who is represented by Mino Raiola, and Roma are in the final stages as he will sign a new deal until 2025.
