Roma are reportedly cautiously optimistic regarding Paulo Dybala’s condition after last night’s injury.
The Argentine attacker – who left the pitch with a painful grimace after being hurt in a slide tackle by Atalanta defender Jose Luis Palomino – underwent tests earlier today which did not reveal any sprained ligaments in his ankle.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma are seemingly convinced this may only be a severe bruise as the ankle did not swell overnight.
Dybala is expected to undergo more tests tomorrow which will help determine a timeline of recovery.
