RomaPress – Roma made two major revelations today following their Board of Directors meeting.
The club announced that ex-Juve director Maurizio Lombardo will begin work as the club’s new Chief Football Operating Officer on 1 March.
Lombardo will report to the club’s General Director Tiago Pinto and help oversee the club’s sporting area. He will also hold an important institutional role in liaising with national and international organisations.
Meanwhile, a two-year contract renewal for CEO Guido Fienga was ratified today.
A legal advisor of The Friedkin Group confirmed to RomaPress that Fienga’s new deal was approved the club’s Board of Directors. Fienga’s contract was due to expire this summer, however, President Dan Friedkin was keen to keep him.
