News from the City Hall of Rome have been released in light of recent rumors suggesting stops in Roma’s long-awaited stadium project.
The Mayor’s office released an important update confirming that Roma’s stadium project continues to be developed and all parties are working towards the same successful outcome.
In the statement, the Mayor’s office explains how Roma CEO Lina Souloukou recently held a phone conversation with mayor Roberto Gualtieri.
“The Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri and the CEO of AS Roma Lina Souloukou had a long and cordial phone call this afternoon,” they wrote.
“During the conversation, the Roma CEO reiterated his desire to complete the Pietralata stadium project as soon as possible, confirming the company’s full intention to achieve this historic result.”
Adding, “The Mayor for his part reiterated to the CEO the total and full collaboration of the municipal administration towards the project which continues its process within the expected timescales, and therefore without delays, compatibly with the technical steps that such a challenge entails.”
