Roma CEO Lina Souloukou reflected on the importance of the capital club’s Youth sector.

“When I arrived at Roma I immediately understood that the youth sector is the club’s objective. To form the first team, this is considered the starting point.”
“And you can see it: the club has improved the youth facilities, the training areas and the accommodation. All of this is meant to facilitate the jump to the first team.”
“Sure, talent is the basis but the work behind it is fundamental. I cite for example Zalewski, who won this award, and Bove, who is permanently in the first team. But also the sales of youth players that generated significant revenue for the club.”
