Roma are locked in talks to bring Romelu Lukaku to the Italian capital.

Following last night’s dinner between Roma and Chelsea officials, the two parties met this morning to discuss the formal details of the capital club’s bid and the Blues’ demands for Lukaku.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the meeting started just a few minutes ago.

Roma are offering a dry loan with a fixed fee of €5 million. The club are not expected to include a buy option or obligation in the deal.

Lukaku has already agreed to the move, but Roma will need him to lower his salary down to around €7-8 million which then the Giallorossi would cover in full.

Roma are confident that an agreement can be reached within the next few hours, allowing Lukaku to travel to Italy as the club’s big summer signing.
