Roma are nearing the signing of Nemanja Matić of Manchester United, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
The Serbian midfielder will leave the Red Devils on a free transfer and is expected to join once again manager Jose Mourinho in the Italian capital.
Di Marzio reports that the 33-year-old will sign a one-year contract with the capital club.
Roma are finalizing the deal, with personal agreement already in place.
Nemanja Matić and ex-Benfica keeper Mile Svilar will be the Giallorossi’s first signings of the upcoming transfer window. Both will join the club as free agents.
