Roma close in on a main sponsor

Roma are nearing an agreement on the main sponsor after nearly five years.

After having searched for a main sponsor without success, Roma are closing in on an agreement with an old flame: Turkish Airlines.

Roma and the Turkish company were in talks two years ago for the main sponsor, however, no agreement was reached. This time the agreement is expected to come to fruition. Kaithlyn Colligan, who oversees Roma’s commercial interests in London, helped spearhead talks and even used club director and former talisman Francesco Totti to help lure the airline via a promotional video, reports La Repubblica.

The agreement has not been formalised yet, though, it is expected to be agreed upon soon for €7-€8 million per season.
