Reportedly, Roma are now a step away from officially redeeming the German defender from Stuttgart, the defender’s parent club. Rüdiger’s loan agreement included an option to make the move permanent for €9 million, a clause that the Giallorossi are ready to activate despite the player drawing heavy interest from Chelsea.
