Roma and new General Director, Tiago Pinto, have already started working on the club’s summer transfer market plans.

The 36 year-old Pinto held his first press conference today since beginning his post at the club as he looks to build “a sustainable Roma that is capable of winning trophies.”

Today, Tuttomercatoweb has reported that Pinto and the Giallorossi are close to striking an important blow on a free transfer for the summer: Porto attacking midfielder, Otavio.

Reportedly, the two sides have been in constant contact and are closing in on an agreement for the Brazilian to land in the Italian capital and join Paulo Fonseca’s side.

The 25 year-old has 2 goals and 4 assists in ten appearances this season and is poised to leave the Portuguese side this summer after seven years.
