Roma appear to be closing in on one final acquisition before the end of the transfer window. Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Corinthians attacker Mateus Vital is nearing a move to Roma. Reportedly, the Giallorossi received the “OK” from the talented Brazilian that he would be willing to accept a move to the Italian capital. Last night, there was ongoing contact between Roma and Corinthians to try and reach an agreement on the transfer. The Brazilian side are requesting a loan with an obligation to buy set between €8-10 million. Roma, through, would prefer an option to buy rather than an obligation. There are still details left to be agreed upon but the sensation is that all of the parties will find a complete agreement.
