Roma closing in on Pellegrini renewal, elimination of €30m release clause

After the contract renewals of defender Aleksandar Kolarov and midfielder Bryan Cristante this week, the Giallorossi are keen to get Lorenzo Pellegrini to sign on the dotted line of a new contract.

Nicolò Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the capital club are ready to hand their #7 a new contract — which will not only increase his wages, but also eliminate the €30 million release that is currently present in his contract.

Reportedly, Roma are ready to hand Pellegrini a new deal that will run until 2024 with net wages worth €3.5 million per season.
