Saud Abdulhamid is very close to a move to Roma following his impressive spell at Al Hilal.
The Saudi fullback has been identified as Roma’s ideal replacement for Rick Karsdorp who is expected to leave the club after being excluded from team activities.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma liked Abdulhamid for his versatility as he can cover a range of defensive positions.
The newspaper adds that negotiations between the Giallorossi and Al Hilal are at advanced stages.
An agreement could be sealed for around 4 million euros: a relatively low cost considering the player’s quality and career in Saudi Arabia.
