Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Roma are closing in on young French defender William Bianda of Lens.
The 2000 class central defender, who just turned 18 years old, has the speed and physical strength that Monchi likes. Bianda, who is left footed, also has the ability to play in a three or four man defence, another characteristic Monchi appreciates. Roma have taken concrete steps to acquire the player: it’s an operation worth €4 million but the sides continue to discuss the bonuses. The basis of the agreement, though, is in place as Roma look to strike another blow on the transfer market.
