Roma collect earnings from Europa League participation

Roma are said to have collected their first earnings of the season for their participation in this year’s Europa League.

The capital club – who recently failed to win against the likes of Slavia Praha and Servette – have been rewarded for their consistency in qualifying for a UEFA compeition.

According to Calcioefinanza.it, Roma have thus far earned a total of €16.8 million.

This sum is said to have derived from several bonuses; participation bonus (€3.63 million), historical ranking (€3.96 million), market pool 1 (€3.66 million), market pool 2 (€1.78 million), results bonus (€2.1 million ), second place in the group (€0.55 million) and finally the playoff bonus (€0.5 million).
