Roma have reportedly agreed to a deal for the transfer of Arnaud Bodart from Standard Liege.
Belgian sources confirm an agreement is in place between the two clubs.
The capital club contacted the goalkeeper coach at Standard Liege, Jean François Gillet, to inquire about Bodart’s form.
Upon Gillet’s consultation, the Giallorossi decided to make the deal happen, reports Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Furthermore, Tavolieri reports Bodart’s definitive departure from Liège is a matter of days.
The Belgian shot-stopper and his entourage are currently settling the agreement on personal terms with the Giallorossi.
Bodart is expected to take Rui Patricio’s place at Roma as the back-up option to Mile Svilar ahead of next season.
