Roma complete deal for Andrea Belotti

Andy Mattioli

Roma have finalized a deal for free agent Andrea Belotti who is ready to join Mourinho’s men upon their return from Turin, where they will meet Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus later tonight.

As reported by Il Tempo, Roma have now officially green lit Andrea Belotti’s medical with the capital club. The former Torino captain’s arrival in Rome has been rescheduled several times but now the Giallorossi seem to finally be ready to welcome him.

The 28-year-old striker will complete his medical with the club and sign his new contract on Sunday. The delays in Belotti’s arrival were caused by the difficulties encountered in offloading Felix and Eldor Shomurodov.

Ultimately, Roma settled for Felix’s sale to Cremonese which will be worth around €9 million and will include a 10% sell-on clause. The Ghanaian forward is in Cremona today to undergo his medical with the Grigiorossi.
