According to Corriere dello Sport, Antonio Conte is a strong favorite for Roma’s bench in case of Mourinho’s exit.
The Italian technician is guaranteed to depart Tottenham by the end of the season and will seek a new managerial opportunity in Serie A as his priority is to return to Italy.
However, the main obstacle remains Conte’s salary: the ex-Inter coach earns around €17 million which Roma would not be able to match at this point in time.
