Roma are keeping a list of targets to strengthen the position of rightback this summer.

With the imminent exits of Rasmus Kristensen – set for a return from loan to Leeds United – and Rick Karsdorp – expected to be sold in the coming weeks – Roma will need to add at least one more option to the right flank.

Over the years, the position of rightback has proven to be Roma’s main weak link.

The likes of Florenzi, Bruno Peres, Maitland-Niles, Santon all seemed to fail in providing Roma with the kind of output and defensive coverage that role typically requires.

As a result, Il Messaggero reports that Daniele De Rossi and technical director Florent Ghisolfi have drawn up a list of names that the club will be targeting this summer.

The newspaper lists Lille’s Tiago Santos and Bafode Diakite as well as Torino’s Raoul Bellanova as the main priorities for Roma.

The Giallorossi are expected to make inquiries and possibly hold talks for all three players.
