Roma considering Denis Zakaria in Juve’s deal for Zaniolo

Talks are on-going between Roma and Juventus over the future of Nicolò Zaniolo, with Roma insisting on excluding all counterparts proposed by the Bianconeri.

Roma want €60 million for the 22-year-old – an offer which which at the moment Juventus cannot match, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper claims that the only counterpart Roma would be willing to consider is Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria, who joined Juve in January and was pursued by Roma last summer.

For the time being, however, Juventus have no intention of advancing a proposal that includes Zakaria. The Bianconeri want to reportedly make the following bid for Zaniolo: €10 million for an initial loan plus an obligation to buy at €30 million and a Primavera player. 21-year-old Filippo Ranocchia is the likeliest name to be included in Juve’s new offer.
