Roma are being linked with former Giallorossi midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The Argentine international has once again popped up on Roma’s radar following the rumors of a potential exit of Nemanja Matic from the capital club.
According to the latest reports, Matic is reflecting on a long-term proposal from Rennes. The Serbian veteran is highly tempted by this offer and has not decided yet whether to depart the Italian capital or stay until the end of his contract.
Thus, Il Messaggero reports that PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes could be named as Matic’s successor in case the ex-Man United man were to leave this summer.
The only obstacle is represented by Pardes’ salary which Roma could not afford to cover. The player would have to accept a pay-cut in order for the deal to go through.
