With Kluivert and Pedro on their way out of the club (the former being linked to OGC Nice on loan), Roma are looking for new names on the wing. Luis Díaz and Filip Kostić have already been rumored as viable options. This time, however it is Marcus Thuram’s turn.
According to L’Equipe, Roma have contacted the French international’s entourage to see whether the player would be willing to move on from Glabach. The German side, however, are asking for a rather steep figure starting from €25 million.
The player has also been linked with a move to Napoli, however the hefty price-tag is a no-go for De Laurentiis’s club. The feasibility of this operation will largely depend on whether Roma are able to monetize from player sales including Kluivert, Pedro, Olsen and Nzonzi over the coming weeks. Until then, Roma have their hands tied.
Thuram finished the 20/21 campaign with 8 goals and 2 assists in 29 league matches.
