Roma continue for Vermaelen

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Roma continue to work for Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen as the Belgian remains an objective of the Giallorossi as today is the day that Roma spoke Barcelona to try to iron out details regarding the operation.

Roma continue to try to acquire Vermaelen as well as a right back: there will unlikely be a left-back purchased as Juan Jesus, Emerson, and Seck is enough for now. Updates are expected after the Giallorossi’s fate in the Champions League is learned.

Meanwhile, with regards Wojciech Szczęsny, the player will go to London tomorrow to fix the last details of the operation before leaving for Italy. The goalkeeper will arrive either tomorrow evening or Thursday to continue his adventure with Roma.
