Ahead of their meeting today, rumors have emerged via Corriere dello Sport that Roma have reignited their interest in Torino fullback Bruno Peres.
Despite having renewed his contract with the Granata until 2020, Sabatini still considers Peres the perfect heir to Maicon, which would allow Alessandro Florenzi to play in his natural position in midfield or attack. Reportedly, Sabatini has touched base in recent days with Torino to discuss the player. Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi, meanwhile, even admitted that to Radio Sportiva the Giallorossi are interested in the player saying, “Roma really likes Peres, but so do many other Italian and foreign clubs.”
Torino would be willing to let the player go, but the offers must start at a minimum of €20 million.
