Roma continue talks with Juve for Cristante-Mandragora swap

Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante is being linked with a summer move away from the club.

La Repubblica has reported that Roma and Juventus are in discussions for a swap involving Cristante and fellow Italian midfielder Rolando Mandragora.

Mandragora is currently owned by Udinese, however, Juve has an option to reacquire the player, which expires this summer. If there’s an opportunity for the Bianconeri to make a profit on Mandragora, they’re expected to repurchase him but then immediately sell him.

Given the need for the Giallorossi to raise funds this summer, this move would be an opportunity for both clubs to make a capital gain on each of the aforementioned players.

Cristante has made 15 appearances for Roma this season and has 1 goal and 2 assists to his name.
