Roma are working to secure a surprise deal for Davide Frattesi in January. However, the capital club must still act within the parameters set by Financial Fair Play.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi are negotiating the midfielder’s fee with Sassuolo. The issue remains, however, that any cash Roma would need to advance Sassuolo’s way must come from a player’s sale.
To do this, Roma are hoping to secure the exit of Eldor Shomurodov in the coming weeks. Torino are the favorites to land the Uzbek striker. Shomurodov’s departure would facilitate a successful conclusion to Frattesi’s long-awaited Roma switch.
