Nicola Zalewski is determined to stay in the Italian capital for years to come, with the club pushing for the same outcome.

The player has drawn considerable attention from several European sides after a campaign in which he emerged as a left wing-back and impressed everyone in Spinazzola’s absence, including José Mourinho.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Borussia Dortmund have made concrete attempts to sign Zalewski over recent weeks.

Leicester and Monaco have also inquired about the 20-year-old.

However, Roma have rejected all advances and have informed all clubs interested in the player that Zalewski is not for sale.

Furthermore, the club plan to shortly propose a salary increase to the player in question: Zalewski is expected to start earning at least €1 million plus bonuses.
