Roma are expected to pursue several transfer targets in France this summer given the imminent arrival of new sporting director Florent Ghisolfi.
Ghisolfi – who will soon be announced by the capital club as their sporting director upon the signing of a three-year deal – is rumored to be eyeing in particular the French market which he knows very well from his experience at Lens and OGC Nice.
According to Leggo, the French executive is already at work to identify the needed reinforcements for Roma’s wings.
With the exits of Spinazzola, Karsdorp and Kristensen, Roma will have to welcome at least 2 fullbacks this summer.
The newspaper suggests that one of them could be Lille’s Bafodé Diakité which Roma continued to monitor with interest in the final part of the 23/24 season.
The 23-year-old has 5 goals and 2 assists to his name in 21 appearances in Ligue 1 for Paulo Fonseca’s side this past season and has shown a real knack for playing in a 433 system.
Leggo claims Roma could make a deal for him for less than €15 million.
