Besides the midfield, Roma’s other priority for the January transfer window remains the right-back position.
With Bryan Reynolds possibly going out on loan in January, Roma want to reinforce the right wing and find the adequate back-up to Rick Karsdorp.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Dalot continues to be the number one name for that position. The player is unhappy with his limited playing time at Old Trafford and he has reportedly already given his OK for a move to the Italian capital.
Manchester United are willing to send the Portuguese international on loan. While the Red Devils insist on insert an obligation, Roma work toward signing the player on loan with option to buy set at around €15 million.
The two clubs are in contact and the situation should be cleared up within the next month.
In the meantime, Sampdoria’s BereszyÅ„ski remains a valid alternative to Dalot, although Sampdoria’s demands are quite high: Massimo Ferrero’s club even asked to insert a Primavera player in a potential deal for the Polish full-back.
