Gianluca Di Marzio has released an update regarding the transfer market of Roma.
The hottest names are those of Nainggolan and Manolas. For Nainggolan, though, the renewal of his contract is not far and because no offers for the player have arrived. For Manolas, Zenit’s bid has been rejected by Roma but the club is awaiting a new offer from the Russians because the player’s will to move to Russia is strong.
Lorenzo Pellegrini’s return will happen next week, when the player will be more available since he is on U-21 duty now. For Foyth of Estudiantes, Roma will increase their offer to the Argentine club. As for Vainqueur, who spent last season on loan at Marseille, there is an offer from Galatasaray but it has been deemed too low. Doumbia to Sporting has been called off, however, the attacker could end up at Fenerbahce, who are ready to offer a substantial contract to the player. Contact between Roma and the Turkish club could come soon to complete the operation.
As for Skorupski, Roma would like to keep hold of him as a second choice goalkeeper behind Alisson. The Polish international, however, would like to play and the Giallorossi have set their price for the player at €10-€12 million.
