Roma are accelerating their transfer operations with only a week left until the deadline on August 31.

The Giallorossi have identified Kevin Danso as their primary target to reinforce Daniele De Rossi’s defense.

Talks with Lens are well underway with Roma having already submitted a first offer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, in France everyone is convinced that the deal will get done, perhaps even today.

This certainty is due to the following reasons.

First of all, Kevin Danso is personally pushing for the transfer after accepting Roma’s proposal.

Secondly, Lens are in need to generate funds for their own transfer market.

The distance between the two clubs is minimal as Roma’s first offer amounted to 22 million euros, whereas Lens’ asking price is 25 million.
