Roma are monitoring Newcastle United attacker Yankuba Minteh as a potential reinforcement ahead of next season.

Giallorossi technical director Ghisolfi continues to scour the international market in search of new talents to give to De Rossi in view of next season.

Newcastle United youngster Yankuba Minteh is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Italian capital.

Despite his very young age, Minteh already boasts a respectable international career. After taking his first steps in his native country, the 19-year-old landed in Denmark with Odense, before subsequently moving to Newcastle and finally to Feyenoord, the club with which he faced Roma in the last Europa League playoff.

Precisely on that occasion, the Giallorossi had the opportunity to appreciate his qualities and began to monitor him carefully.

Minteh is a very flexible offensive winger, capable of playing both on the right and left, and also as a first striker if necessary.

Equipped with good speed and dribbling ability, the young Gambian player could represent the ideal profile to strengthen Roma’s offensive department, completing the technical characteristics already present.

To bring Minteh to the capital, the Giallorossi management is reportedly evaluating a possible collaboration with Everton, a club that could acquire the player’s contract and then loan him to Roma, in order not to burden the club’s budget excessively, writes La Gazzetta dello Sport.
