Roma are reportedly willing to postpone talks for Nicolo Zaniolo’s renewal until the end of this season.
The capital club have been negotiating with the youngster’s entourage for the past few months and – despite prioritizing it above other situations – there is still obstacles in the way of a successful deal.
So far, Roma haven’t made concrete steps toward signing Zaniolo on a long-term deal beyond 2024. The club’s management have postponed all talks regarding the player’s situation at least until the New Year.
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the capital club seem intentioned on first assessing the youngster’s performances over the coming months before matching his demands for a contract renewal which would place him among the highest club earners.
Meanwhile, Juventus remain vigilant.
