Roma have been dealt a massive blow just 48 hours ahead of their crucial match against Milan.
Sky Sport has reported that Edin Dzeko will miss at least the next two weeks due to a groin injury. The Bosnian will miss Sunday’s showdown against the Rossoneri and he’s also a doubt for Roma’s Europa League first leg against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Dzeko suffered the injury during yesterday’s victory over Braga and asked to be substituted.
Roma boss Paulo Fonseca didn’t seem worried after the match and was confident that the injury wasn’t serious.
Scans revealed today, though, that the attacker suffered a first degree strain.
