Despite rumors in recent weeks, Kostas Tsimikas will not leave Trigoria.

The Greek defender has been at the center of several rumors suggesting an early end to his time in the capital.

Initially, a possible return to Liverpool, the club that owns his contract, was floated, and subsequently interest from Turkish club Besiktas emerged.

Both options, however, have faded.

The Giallorossi management has chosen not to part with the player midway through the season.

According to The Athletic, Roma sees Tsimikas as a valuable addition to the squad, providing consistent rotation during a busy period of the season.

With the arrival of Bryan Zaragoza in attack, the Giallorossi’s left flank finally has its long-awaited reinforcement in attack. As for defense, Tsimikas will continue to dominate the defensive line, likely serving as an alternative to Wesley in Gian Piero Gasperini’s system.
