Roma have put on hold negotiations for Atletico Madrid winger Rodrigo Riquelme.

Daniele De Rossi really likes the Spanish winger, but to date the operation is complicated due to the high costs involved in a potential deal.

In fact, as reported by Relevo, the €30 million requested by the Spanish club are deemed too excessive by Roma.

The Spanish portal suggests that Atletico’s asking price has deterred Roma from pursuing Riquelme at the moment.

For the time being, talks haven’t really taken off.

Roma are interested in the 24-year-old but without securing outgoing transfers they will hardly be able to satisfy the Atletico’s requests.

Ghisolfi is also working on the outgoing market: Bove and Abraham are on their way out. Both have offers in the Premier League.
