Roma deem Zalewski and Bove not untouchable in case of reasonable offers

Andy Mattioli

Roma could choose to sacrifice Nicola Zalewski and Edoardo Bove this summer.

The two players have struggled to impose themselves and receive considerable playing time this past season.

Both are coming off a year of ups and downs – Zalewski’s struggles date back to last year whereas Bove, despite showing much promise in the first half of the season, was mostly demoted to the bench under Daniele De Rossi.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Zalewski’s sale is the most probable one as it would help Roma comply with Financial Fair Play.

The Polish fullback is expected to put himself on display in the upcoming EUROs.

Meanwhile, Bove’s future remains more uncertain – the player would like to stay on but realizes that at 21 he should be playing with more consistency which he is not guaranteed at Roma.

The newspaper claims Bove has drawn more interest than Zalewski – in case of an offer upwards of €10-12 million, Roma would be willing to sit down and negotiate.
