Roma deny Cavani offer

RomaPress – Roma are looking to reinforce their attack this summer and will look for options both at striker and on the wing.

A report emerged today from Uruguay stating that Roma have presented an offer to out-of-contract PSG attacker Edinson Cavani.

Multiple members of the Giallorossi hierarchy have denied this report to RomaPress and claimed that no offer was presented by the club to the former Napoli man.

The 33 year-old was earning over €10 million (net) per season with the Parisians — a figure much higher than that of any member of Roma.

The Giallorossi will certainly look to bolster their striking core in the coming weeks but Cavani is not a profile that interests them currently.
