Roma are concerned with Houssem Aouar’s physical conditions following his recent injury.

The midfielder was forced to exit the pitch on Friday night as he felt pain in his hip flexor muscle.

Two days later, Roma are yet to determine the extent of his injury.

However, L’Equipe Foot report that Roma have already informed the Algerian national team that Aouar will not be taking part in their upcoming games during this international break.

Algeria has not responded to Roma’s message: the nation’s head coach, Djamel Belmadi, is expected to take a decision within the coming hours whether to insist on calling up Aouar or letting him stay in the Italian capital to continue his recovery.
