Roma deny Milan’s discount request for Florenzi

Alessandro Florenzi seems to have convinced the Milan board to invest in him as a long-term back-up to Davide Calabria.

However, the Rossoneri have asked Roma for a discount on the player’s option inserted into his loan.

According to calciomercato.com, Milan intended to lower the price-tag from the agreed €4.5 million to €3 million.

Roma have reportedly denied this request as the capital club want to make the profit they initially expected to make from the fullback’s eventual sale in June.

Negotiations are expected to continue until the end of the season, when – after months of speculation – Florenzi’s future will be determined once and for all.
