Roma were quick to deny the rumor put into motion by Corriere dello Sport of Mourinho’s future being allegedly at risk.
Today’s edition of the Italian newspaper claimed the capital club were willing to consider firing the Portuguese technician in case of a defeat with Cagliari on Sunday.
Moreover, Corriere also stated that Roma President Dan Friedkin had identified ex-Bayern Munich coach Hans-Dieter Flick as Mourinho’s replacement.
However, as reported by ANSA, Roma have denied these rumors, calling them fake and reaffirming the club’s support of Mourinho.
