In a bizarre and, frankly, amateur display, Roma director Mauro Baldissoni appeared on Roma Radio today and read aloud a transfer request from what he claims to be Miralem Pjanic.
The Roma director claims the statement read: “With this note, I inform you (Roma) that I intend to activate my right to be transferred to another club, as agreed previously. I also state my intention to send the 20% owed to me from a transfer fee directly to the new club which will purchase my rights, who I can inform you is Juventus FC. I thank you and urge you to make contact to finalise the necessary contractual formalities.”
Juve director backed Baldissoni’s claims that Roma did not approach the Bianconeri for the transfer saying, “Pjanic himself facilitated the operation by deciding to forego the percentage of that sum he would’ve been due,” he told TuttSport.
